Pastor Chip will be out of the office for Thursday, November 6–November 20. Pastor Chip will be back in the office Friday, November 21. Pastor Chip will be teaching at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, PA and on vacation. The Rev. Leslie Beldon will deliver the sermon on Sunday, November 9, and the Rev. Sallie Watson will deliver the sermon Sunday, November 16. Please make them feel welcome.

The Presbyterian Woman will have their bazaar & bake sale on Saturday, November 8. Items needed are hand crafts, baked goods, and fond treasures. Proceeds will be used for Presbyterian women mission efforts both locally and church wide. Sign up sheets are located in the church office. If you would like to help please call Galena McCaleb or Lila Lee Shaw.

If you have an announcement that you would like placed in the November newsletter, please turn it into the church office before 10 a.m. Thursday, October 25.

Hospital policy change:
The North Arkansas Regional Medical Center Hospital has changed their policy and we no longer have access to their list of patients. If you are admitted to the hospital you must tell the hospital staff that you are a Presbyterian and that it is okay for a Presbyterian Pastor to visit you. It is very important that you or a loved one call to let Pastor Chip or the church office know that you are in the hospital.

There are several ways in which you can be a vital part of the ministry of this church:

Sunday School coordinator:
This person will help make sure Sunday School teachers
have what they need. Subs are contacted when needed
sothings run smoothly on Sunday morning.

Van and shuttle coordinator:
This person will arrange van rides for all
people who wish to use this ministry.

Van drivers:
We need folk who are willing to drive the van for
church events and other ministries as needed.

Youth Fellowship team members:
While we need parents to be active in our youth
program, you do not have to have children in the youth
program to be a part of this ministry. Just ask Grant!
We do need more people to help, especially as
Fall approaches and our Sunday and Wednesday
night activities begin again.

Sign up sheets are outside the Sanctuary, in the
Gathering space and in the church office. You can always
just call the office if you are interested in any of these ministries.

Children’s Choirs!
Contact Donna Butler or Pastor Chip if you have any questions.
Rehearsals will be Wednesdays at 5pm.

Sunday night and Wednesday night volunteers needed
for meal and or activities.

Sponsor a Child’s Bible
The Christian Education Committee has purchased 20 bibles to give to children that attend the Wednesday night program. The cost to sponsor a bible is $20. So far 5 bibles have been sponsored.
That only leaves 14 bibles to be sponsored. Sign up forms are located in the Gathering Space, outside of the Sanctuary, and in
the church office.

The First Presbyterian Church Directory’s are in!
A table is set up in the Gathering Space and outside of the Sanctuary. It is very important that you sign for your directory. There is a very limited amount of directories available.

Presbyterian Breakfast Club
will meet at Coffee and More Thursday, November 20, at 9 a.m. Please join us! If you need transportation please call the church.

If you have keys to the old church please turn them in to the office as soon as possible.
